STS-1 was the first orbital flight of NASA's Space Shuttle program. Space Shuttle Columbia launched on 12 April 1981 It was the first American manned space flight since the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project on 15 July 1975 that a six year gap ....give us time we will come back with something better ,also its nothing but an Soyuz ripoff lol but hell good luck to them
yeah but they have a solid plan for their space program. no funky flying to an asteroid. they're going to the moon and then mars. oh and they're planning on doing a moon landing by 2020
Only the Chinese are ready, willing and able to take the losses to their space crews and colonist while conquering space. The US loses one man and the whole thing is regarded as a failure and waste of money then the enterprise is called off. The Chinese could lose 5 million Mars or moon colonist and it would just be a bump in the road. As per Obama, Barack H. The future does not belong to those who profane Islam.
